AMSTECS 2011 and Tokyo Tech Innovation Days is postponed

Regarding the current situation in Japan, a great natural disaster that have occurred in the northeast of Japan, the organizer of AMSTECS 2011 is deeply saddened and conveying our condolence to the victim and family and our heart always be with you.
Based on the present situation in Japan, obtained suggestions and considerations from the participants and speakers, the organizer has careful decided to postpone the conference and we make a new schedule of AMSTECS 2011 on June 11-12, 2011 (Saturday and Sunday).
We are looking forward to welcoming you on June 11-12, 2011

We have heard that some of participants have succeeded to change their flight ticket to “open ticket” so they can reserve other dates for the flight. We suggest to all other AMSTECS participant to change their flight tickets to “open ticket” if possible.
Welcome to AMSTECS & Tokyo Tech Indonesian Innovation Days 2011
Annual Meeting of Science and Technology (AMSTECS) and Tokyo Tech Indonesian Innovation Days 2011 is a part of science and technology scholar meetings, which sponsored by The Institute for Science and Technology Studies (ISTECS), and organized by Indonesian Student Association (ISA) of Tokyo Institute of Technology (PPI Tokodai) in cooperation with several scientific communities, namely Indonesian Student Association/Persatuan Pelajar Indonesia (PPI) Chapter Japan and Indonesian Scientists, Indonesian Agriculture Science Association (IASA) and Engineers Society/Masyarakat Ilmuwan dan Teknolog Indonesia (MITI)). At the beginning, this forum is a scientific communication forum for Indonesia students, which study in Japan. However, with the urgency of technology transfer from the frontier laboratory research into the application and industrial research, AMSTECS 2011 is driven as a meeting from that bridge the scientific research and its applications in industry. Therefore, in this AMSTECS 2011, we will involve many organizations among professionals, scientists, students, industry practitioners and governmental institutions.
The conference will mainly focus on followings topics, but not only limited on to:
- Agriculture and Food Security
- Life Science, Health and Medicine Technology
- New and Renewable Energy and Energy Saving Technology
- Technology and Management of Transportation
- Information and Communication Technology
- Advanced Material Science
In addition to the above topics, there will be also a special session on Indonesia human resources development and the revitalization of national industrial strategy in order to strengthen a national innovation system toward a knowledge-based developed country.
